Most Scenic Films

[Contemporary] or [Classic] ?
Contemporary Selections for Most Scenic Films

Here films are selected on the basis of production values -- especially cinematography -- that accomplish the effect of making the film visually impressive in an ornate or picturesque manner. Landscape as well as interior perspective, costumes, and other effects that make the film particularly visually appealing are part of the criteria. In the case of animated features, the depth, realism (or stylization), and panaramic quality of the animation are often the most important factors in the scenic appeal of the film (as judged here).
